Mike Daniel

Mike Daniel commenced his career in the mining industry, progressing through the ranks of production to the position of General Manager of a JSE listed mine by the age of 29, obtaining his qualifications on the way. He achieved “Top Mining Company” and “Top 10” in the Sunday Times Annual Business survey for two consecutive years. He managed a R1 billion greenfields mining project and upon obtaining his BSc. Mining Engineering degree, he progressed to Consulting Mining Engineer in a junior mining Group, responsible for the technical and strategic direction of 5 mines (gold, chrome, platinum, diamonds and emeralds). A strategic change in career lead Mike into multinational engineering companies, managing large capital projects and mining projects, with a focus on innovation and mechanisation. Mike then established KPMC as a niche company, providing innovative products and specialist services to the mining, engineering, logistics, supply chain management and bulk materials handling industries.
